Mumbai University Champion Baseball (Men): PCACS Men Baseball Team retained the title and Gold medal at Mumbai University Mumbai City Zone Inter Collegiate Baseball Men Championship held on 23rd January & 6th February 2025 at C.K.T College, Khanda Colony.

Maiden MES Inter School Quiz Competition: The Maiden MES Inter School Quiz Competition held at Dr. K.M. Vasudevan Pillai Campus on 15th February 2025. Dr. Pillai Global Academy – Gorai won all the three positions in the 5th to 7th Std Category and Title. Mahatma International School CBSE won the Gold Medal and Title in 8th to 11th Std category.


Ms. Ujjwala Ramdas Ghuge: FY B.P.Ed. student of MES`s VCPER selected to represent India in Women`s Rugby team and won second place and Silver medal at Asian Rugby Sevens trophy at Doha, Qatar from 3rd to 4th Nov. 2023. She also represent University of Mumbai women’s Rugby team – secured 1st place in 15-a-side All India tournament held at Chandigarh University, Mohali from 20th to 24th January 2024

Neha Shahu captained Mumbai University to winning West Zone National University Basketball title : Pillai College of Engineering student and Youth Indian Basketball(Women) player Neha Sahoo captained Mumbai University to win West Zone National University Basketball 2018-19.

In Archery PCACS`s Mukul Prasad adjudged bronze medal at Mumbai University Archery Championship held at SD College Palghar on 15th December 2018.

HOCL School & HOC Jr College adjudged the Best School in sports and won cash award: Pillai HOCL School & HOC International School & Jr College won the Overall Sports title for the best performance in sports at Raigad District and won a cash prize of 1.25 lac from District Sports Officer in the year 2018-19.

Physical Conditioning & Sports Injury rehabilitation clinic: MES Sports control board in association with MGM Medical college-Kamothe organized a clinic on sports injuries, Physical conditioning and rehabilitation of sportsmen for the sports players of Pillai group of Institutions. The clinic held at Gymkhana of Dr.KM Vasudevan Pillai campus. Sports Medicine and physiotherapy specialist doctors from the MGM Hospital delivered the classes.

Mr. Fitness Physique Competition 2017-18: The Inter Collegiate Fitness Physique Competition conducted by MES Sports control board as a part of the “Alegria” attract many across the country and has become one of the best event in the festival.

“Pillai Sports Fest -2017”– with a slogan of “Come on; Let us play together”– a sports festival organized by Pillai HOC Educational Campus-Rasayani for the schools & Jr. Colleges of Raigad district attracts hundreds of students across the district. The fest is inaugurated by Mrs. Vidya Sirsath, Taluka Sports Officer and a Shiv Chhatrapati award winner in the presence of all HOD`s and deputy CEO of Pillai HOC Educational Campus-Rasayani. There were three sports disciplines namely Kho-Kho, Kabaddi and cricket conducted for students under the age of 19 years from 28th November to 7th December 2017 and many teams from remote places of Raigad district participated in the event. More than 50 junior colleges across Raigad-Navi Mumbai participated in the event.

Sports teachers refresher course: Mahatma Education Society`s Sports Control Board in association with Raigad District Sports Officer organised a state level two days training program for the Sports teachers. The program organized at Franav Farms were expert from Volleyball, Basketball, Football, Athletics and Physical conditioning conducted the class.

Mumbai University bronze medal winning Baseball team of – PCACS

Mr. Anuj Dattaguru Sarnaik: 3rd year Diploma – Mech student of Pillai HOC Polytechnic- Rasayani represented India in the 5th Asian Beach games- 2016 held at Da-Nag, Vietnam on 5th September 2016. He participated in a popular Malaysian Martial Arts form called “PENCAK SILAT” which is going to be an event in the coming Asian games and probably an event in the 2024 Olympics.

Ms. Jyoti Shinde: B.P.Ed student of Vidyadhiraja Collge of Physical Education & Research – New Panvel won gold medal at 15th Mumbai Mayer Cup State Invites Championship in Individual and Team held at Chembur, Mumbai.

Ms. Rucha Darekar: Third year EXTC student of Pillai HOC College of Engineering & Technology (PHCET) won bronze medal at All India Inter Varsity Fencing Championship. It is the second consecutive year, Rucha winning National medal.

Manjiree V Parkar: Class VIIth student of Mahatma School of Academics & Sports (English Medium) – Khanda colony won gold medal at International Junior Nihon Shito Ryu Karate Do invitation Championship held at Sri Lanka in the month of December 2015. She is also awarded as best achiever award by Pillai Group of Institutions.

Mr. Aditya Singh: TE (Mech) student of Pillai Institute of Information Technology(PIIT) – New Panvel won bronze medal at All India Inter University Chess Tournament and he is the only player from Mumbai who won all the matches in the team championship. Aditya also awarded with Best Achievers Award by Pillai Group of Institutions.

PIIT Students Triumph at West Zone Universities Chess title for Mumbai University: Mr. Aditya Singh (3rd year Mech) and Mr. Sarvesh Rao (2nd year Electronics) students of Pillai Institute of Information technology (PIIT) won the West Zone Universities Chess Championship(Men) team title for Mumbai University. The Mumbai University team led by Aditya Singh outplayed every universities coming under west zone during the event held at Ahmedabad (Guj).

Miss Rucha Dharekar: First year Engineering student of Pillai HOC College of Engineering won the bronze medal in University Fencing Championship held at Mumbai. She also represent Mumbai University in All India University Fencing Championship held at Patiala.

Master Prakash N Bhatia: XIIth Std Student of Mahatma School of Academics & Sports won the silver medal at Junior State Karate Championship.

Gopal Mhatre: B.P.Ed student of Vidhyadhiraja College of Physical Education & Research won the National gold medal in Shotokan Karate and represent Indian in Asian Championship and won gold medal in the tournament. He also represented the country in the World Karate Championship.

Roshan R Shelke: 10th Std student of Mahatma School of Academics and Sports made the school proud by winning National bronze medal and State gold medal in Wushu (Marshal Arts) Competition held at Delhi and Nagpur respectively.

Vishal Maphankar: First year M.Com student of PCACS represented Mumbai University in West Zone Universities Baseball Championship and placed runners-up. He also participated in the All India Universities Baseball Championship.
