Pillai Athletes shines at National School Athletics Meet
Three students of Pillai HOC International School, Rasayani participated and reached in the finals of National School Athletics Meet held at Ettava, Uttar Pradesh from 29th January to 2nd February, 2013. Their stunning performance in the District, Divisional and State Athletics meets made them to reach at the finals in the Nationals for Maharashtra.
Out of three athletes, two are competing for 110 H/Hurdles titles as they came first and second in the State Meet and one for 200 mtrs. Tousif Shaikh and Vishal Lokhre both stood First and Second respectively during State Athletics Meet held at Jalana in November 2013 are under hectic training at HOC Stadium under their coach Ajay Dusara. Diptesh Utekar, 200 mtr sprinter also a 10th std. student who came second with 23.05 seconds during State Athletic Meet improved his timing during recently held PYKA National Meet. PYKA nationals he competes in 100 mtrs also and stood 6th with a timing of 11.04 and 23.02 in 200 mtrs respectively. Diptesh is confident of making his entry into the first three at the nationals in near future.
Tousif clocked 15.00 sec and Vishal clocked 15.03 sec respectively in State Meet but they bettered there timing now with .3 sec and .5 sec respectively during these preparation training at Rasayani. These promising students are confident of making their entry into the national squad one day.

Raigad District Under-16 years Boys Volleyball Team led by Subham Patwal, student of Pillai HOC International School won the Mumbai Zonal Gramin Volleyball title by beating Thane District in straight two (2-0) sets. The team dominated by Pillai HOC students excel in all aspect of the game as they never look back in the tourney which held at St. Joseph High School and Jr. College, Kalamboli on 21st Novemeber, 2012. Jaydeep Holger, Mandar Patil and Niraj played excellently well for the team.
Pillai HOC International School student Tousif Shaikh steel the show of School State Athletics Championship by winning the Gold Medal in the prestigious 110 High Hurdle by clocking a time of 15:10 sec.
Pillai HOC Athlete Vishal Lokhre stood second with 15:60 sec. at Jalna.
In 200 meter race Diptesh Utekar class 10th student of Pillai HOC International School, won the Silver Medal by clocking 23:60 sec.
