Fr. Agnels, Vashi clinched 3-on-3 Basketball title at Pillai’s
Fr. Agnels, Vashi, Basketball team overpowered a strong YMCA-Belapur in exciting finals of a 3-on-3 Basketball open prize money tournament conducted here at Multi-Functional Out Door Sports Complex of Dr. K. M. Vasudevan Pillai Campus organized by Mahatma Education Society Sports Control Board. A total of eleven teams, mostly from Navi Mumbai participated in the tournament.
In the semi final’s YMCA Belapur beat a younger group of Pillai HOC Engineering College by 22-15. In the second semi final’s Fr. Agnels beat Falcons-Nerul by a score of 28-16. The tournament was conducted in knock-out basis.

In the exciting finals, Fr. Agnels managed to win by a slender Margin of 23-21 where in YMCA some of the Pillai Campus players also represented. Mr. Daniel Jacob, Principal, Pillai Polytechnic College, New Panvel gave away the prizes to the champions
